Fraudulent Recruitment
Recruitment fraud has increased recently, like many online scams the ultimate goal is to obtain personal information or money. This online phenomenon usually revolves around fake websites, unsolicited emails or text messages.
Please note that we will never send any communication that requires any of the following information or activities.
Requests for money (for example visa fees, taxes, travel expenses etc.)
Request personal information (such as passport copies and bank account details at the early stages of negotiating a role);
Emails from web-based email accounts (such as Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or Live.com);
Calls from mobile phones, rather than office landline numbers;
Communications including poor spelling and grammar errors;
Response or action from you “urgently”;
Unsolicited offers of employment;
Communication on non-branded or unformatted documentation.
What you should do if you suspect you have received fraudulent recruitment communication? First and foremost, do not respond. If you believe you have received a fraudulent job offer, we would advise that you contact your Local Police.
Fraudulent Tenders
Please be aware of fraudulent e-mails that are circulating in the name of menapetro (the “Company”) inviting vendors to participate in the tendering processes of the Company. The Company DOES NOT require any vendor to make any payments to the Company to register with the Company and/or participate in any tender related processes. All tender related correspondences of the Company are only issued from emails with the domain name “info@manapetro.com”. We request you to not fall prey to any such scams.
